Amy Jennisen is not the average carefree thirteen-year-old from modern-day Earth. Not even close. Besides her ADHD-fueled imagination and goofball attitude, she's a part-time superhero––or more accurately known as a "World Hero"––and the only one on Earth with magic, something that not even she fully understands yet. Living on the edge as a celebrity superhero, co-leading an international organization of ordinary teenage superheroes, and frequently combating any catastrophe or disaster is never easy. And it gets even harder when she’s kidnapped by a cunning teenager with a hidden agenda.

Ludevec Durevic is just as unusual as Amy, but in the total opposite way. An arsenal of robotic spiders, advanced technology he manufactured himself, and articulated vocabulary is never normal for a teenager. Clue by clue, the Race and Amy’s allies have to figure out who he is, what he wants with Amy, and what his real target is before time is up. But even someone as ditzy as Amy shouldn't be underestimated. Not when she has an overactive imagination, magic, and an international superhero group backing her up...

Behind the scenes...

Since early fall of 2004, this story has been my biggest and most cherished project. It started out as a novel project, but it was the main reason why I wanted to go into animation. Whenever I daydreamed about the story, every detail in it––the actions, situations, environments, characters––were always in an animated form, mostly in 2D. So I wanted to try to actually turn it into a cartoon series someday.

Animation is one of my forms of escapism and self-therapy. Whenever I was upset or depressed, I would turn on the TV to find one of my favorite cartoons and would forget whatever was bothering me. Whenever things in the world outside weren't very cheerful, I would find myself daydreaming about how my characters would react in the same situations. My two main characters have been especially helpful as my "inner-voices" of reason and creativity, helping me find inspiration in everyday life or boosting my self-esteem. This has been happening for so many years now, the story and the characters took off on their own, developing their own personalities and lives, enough to fill a 6-book series and a potential spin-off.

The sole purpose of this project is to entertain young adults and older in a comical fashion about sustainability, environmentalism, humanitarianism, and preserving life as much as possible. Its main format will be primarily novels, while the other format will hopefully be animated, either as a web series or a TV series. And maybe as a side-project, they could be converted into graphic novels.
